The Role:

We are seeking results driven leader for this position. Terminal Manager will complete managerial duties to ensure warehouse operations are running smoothly and profitably. Key Job Responsibilities:

• Accountable for On-Time performance of delivery contractors.
• Oversee general onboarding process for contractors.
• Discuss performance and adherence to company goals and policies.
• Ensure dispatch and delivery operations are maintained properly.
• Be the point of contact for vendor/customers.
• Manage inventory and adjust when necessary.
• Manage invoices; write corrective invoices when needed, file invoices daily.
• Ensure proficiency in every warehouse job function, including inventory receiving and stocking, returns, dispatching, and shipping.
• Coordinate and process appropriate paperwork.
• Have financial accountability of operations and terminal when applicable.
• Submit payroll for warehouse employees.
• Train contractors on various processes for delivery and customer service.
• Lead efforts to maintain security and safety procedures.

Required Skills:

• Ability to work hours as business needs dictate.
• Must be able to supervise and train employees effectively.
• Perform office tasks using simple hand grasping, fine hand manipulation and reach associated with assigned tasks such as paperwork, typing, and/or use of a computer, filing, and calculating.
• Assist in moving packages.
• Follow up on service issues, finding solutions and achieving resolution, closing out delivery day
• Have a sufficient ability to communicate, through sight, hearing, and/or otherwise, to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions.
• Strong Distribution Background is a plus
• Forklift Certification is a plus

Physical Demands:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Typical 10-hour day to include walking, squatting, and lifting. To perform the duties of this job the employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Heavy lifting of 50lbs or more may be required.
